If you fancy exploring the great outdoors with your own personal guide, Mellington Hall can tailor any country walk just for you, whether it be a 12 mile hike with castles and forts thrown in, a pub lunch in between, or a National Trail. Our local walking expert is Helen, an experienced walker and map reader, who is enthusiastic, energetic and friendly. Her passion is walking and taking others out on a walk who may benefit from the fresh air and of course the exercise, not to mention enjoying our beautiful countryside in mid-Wales along the way. Helen can make your day more memorable by designing a walk to suit you in terms of length, grade and places of interest to see.

You can start your day at the spectacular setting that is Mellington Hall: a hearty breakfast first, then set off on your tailor-made walk taking with you a healthy packed lunch created by our chef to suit your dietary requirements (always assuming you don’t want a pub stop!). You can come back to Mellington Hall for a well-earned scrumptious afternoon cream tea or evening meal.

Guided walks are an ideal opportunity to spend valued time with family and friends in a fun and relaxed atmosphere, whilst keeping fit and healthy at the same time.
